During the winter, replace the wind-cheater jacket with something more thick and get some more layers within your cothing. Here is the list which is mainly important for tghe winter months:

- Several pairs of warm winter socks (woollen socks are even better)
- Warm woollen cap / hat and scarf. It is good to have balaclava as well.
- Warm trousers (skiing trousers are very good). Of course if you don’t have skiing trousers, you can use regular jeans, but they should have enough of free space to put on thermal underwear together with jeans.
- Full set of thermal inner-wear (both upper and lower)
- Warm jumpers and sweaters (Fleece/woollen if possible.
- Extra batteries for your phone, photo and video camera, because all batteries drain out quite fast when they are in the cold snowy weather.
- Personal first aid kit with medicaments for colds and fever, headache, stomach-ache, etc. as well as individual drugs, if you need to take them on regular basis.
